Children create their own animated movie...

In the stop motion film workshop, the participants bring their films to life with play dough, cardboard and wire. In this workshop, the participants learn all the stages of stop motion film, from the idea stage to editing the film on a computer or even on a smartphone. Moreover, while doing this, no prior technical equipment is required.

They just need to bring their smartphones and transfer cables.

While making a stop motion film, the person gets away from the intensity and tiredness of the outside world and allows his creativity to take wings. With the knowledge he gained from the workshop, he can continue to make films in a corner of his home.

Materials to be Provided; *Tripod *Play dough, cardboard, wire, glue and other tools

At the end of the workshop, the figures made of play dough will remain with the participants.

Who is Doga Kilcioglu Esen?

Doğa Kılcıoğlu Esen, who graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Communication in 2004, studied cinema at Paris Sorbonne III University in 2005 with a graduate scholarship from the French Government. He received the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival – Best Documentary Award in 2003 with the documentary film Üç Earlı, which he shot during his university years. In 2006, he made the documentary film '1 2 3 TIP'. In 2008, he founded DeliCe Film with his brother Can Kılcıoğlu. The documentary "Izdivaç with a Camera" directed by Doğa Kılcıoğlu Esen was screened in many festivals and received the Audience Award at the Prizren Dokufest Documentary Film Festival. In 2013, he produced the feature film Karnaval directed by Can Kılcıoğlu. He held film workshops with many corporate companies such as Yapı Kredi Bank, Garanti Bank and Finansbank. Doga Kilcioglu Esen, who also taught part-time at Galatasaray University, is now both teaching cinema and media to children at UKEB Schools and working on documentary films.

Participation fee: 120 TL Age range: 9-15
