2018
Originn, the Climathon-İzmir'18 program, was held in Originn simultaneously with 46 countries and more than 100 cities globally, in cooperation with IDEMA (International Development Management) and Aegean Industrialists' Business People's Association (ESİAD). At the event, which also aims to develop cooperation between university students, entrepreneurs and the business world, the participants worked to produce innovative solutions for 24 hours. At the end of the program, 10 teams worked 24 hours a day to propose innovative, scalable and applicable solutions to a problem identified as intersecting with local dynamics of climate change.
2019
Climathon-İzmir'19 It was held in Originn for the second time on October 24-25, simultaneously with more than 100 cities globally, with the cooperation of ESIAD, ORIGINN, IDEMA and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.
The themes of 2019;
- Natural disasters, forest fires
- Efficient use of natural resources, especially water
- Implementation of environmentally friendly smart city solutions
At the end of the program, 10 teams worked 24 hours a day and presented innovative, scalable and applicable solution proposals on the determined themes.
