This month's guest at CreativeMornings İzmir is Damla Saydam, founder of @qirqitstudio 🙌
Born in Denizli in 1986, Damla Saydam graduated from Boğaziçi University's Department of Translation and Interpreting and subsequently worked as a translator and senior executive assistant for various companies. Since 2016, she has continued her translation work freelance. In 2017, driven by her love for plants and her longing for nature, she founded the La Planta brand. In 2021, seeking a quieter life and closer to nature, she decided to move from Istanbul to a village in Bergama. While continuing to enrich her interest in plants and nature with training in permaculture and medicinal aromatic plant cultivation, in 2024 she began working on weaving, a passion she had for years, and founded the “qirqit studio” brand.
