Dr. Özgür Özkaya, who is also the director of the Efeler Trail (@efeleryolu), a 500 km long marked hiking trail starting from İzmir-Bornova and passing through Nif Mountain, Bozdağ and Aydın mountain ranges to Meryemana in Ephesus-Selçuk, conducts research in the field of Applied Sports Sciences at the Department of Coaching Education, Faculty of Sports Sciences, Ege University.
