Modern Calligraphy Workshop

Calligraphy, originating from the Greek 'kallos' (beautiful) and 'graphos' (writing), is the art of writing beautifully. Calligraphy meets 'calligraphy' in Islamic civilizations.

Calligraphy, which varies in different writing systems and in different geographies, was frequently applied especially in the pre-printing period.

Calligraphy, which is reinterpreted by its enthusiasts today; It stands out as a work that needs to be experienced for those who are tired of pressing the keyboard or screen to write, who want to use pen and paper again, and who want to do good work while doing it.

Workshop Content; In the workshop that will cover 3 hours of basic calligraphy training; - introducing the writing instruments, explaining the usage patterns and techniques, - line exercises, - alphabet letter exercises, - letter combination, - writing a desired word or sentence.

To the participants of the workshop; - 1 cloth bag, - 1 pen handle, - 2 dipstick tips, - 1 bottle of ink, - sample alphabet, - lined/unlined worksheets, - a special card will be given to the participant.

Bengisu Yayla, who founded ; He carries out works in different disciplines such as calendars, postcards, posters made with modern calligraphy, cards, writing applications on different surfaces, watercolor illustrations.
