Would you like to move to Mars?
ArtsMap - Micro Support - 'One with Nature'
ArtsMap community invites you to an enjoyable event on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, with their "Would you like to move to Mars?" project, supported by the Micro-Support Program themed around Sustainable Development Goal 13 - "Climate Action" under the title "One with Nature".
The project team aims to encourage an artistic production process by asking every art collective reached by the globe, symbolizing our planet, the question, "Would you like to move to Mars?", and also to create a platform for sharing where and how art and artists should position themselves regarding the climate crisis.
Our project partner, Galerie de Jaloezie, is also involved in the production process with the globe we sent to Rotterdam on this journey. PAL Izmir, on the other hand, produced a short dance film with the answer, "I don't want to move to Mars."
We are delighted to invite you to this event, organized under the umbrella of PAL İzmir in partnership with Galerie de Jaloezie (Rotterdam), which will feature a short film screening and presentations and talks on the SDG 13 Climate Action / Art-Culture Relationship, creating an interdisciplinary environment for sharing.
* The event is open to everyone and free of charge.
